ERP systems like Oracle EBS are the veritable nerve centers of the businesses that use them.  But that comes at a steep price: when it comes to making changes, even the slightest errors can set off catastrophic chain-reactions.

Due to their highly complex, often-customized nature, ERP systems like Oracle EBS are the veritable nerve centers of the businesses that use them—centralizing much of the company’s various needs into one cohesive and interlocked system.  But that high degree of integrated functionality comes at a steep price: when it comes to making changes, even the slightest errors can set off catastrophic chain-reactions.

For a lot of enterprise-level companies, this boils down to a fundamental truth: mergers and acquisitions can absolutely wreck havoc on your ERP.

Unfortunately, a recent client of ours experienced this firsthand.  Following an acquisition, they found their existing Oracle EBS environment unable to accommodate their new company’s invoicing process.  This presented a serious problem; because without EBS integration, the new business would have to continue invoicing manually—a tedious method that was generating a host of revenue-eating user errors.

Not content with that alternative, they asked us to help ensure a smooth integration into their Oracle EBS environment.
