Is Associative Thinking The Key to Innovative Leadership?

Spurring from a conversation with his daughter, our President and CEO is wondering: are you using Associative Thinking to better yourself as a leader by connecting previously-unconnected dots?
Is Associative Thinking The Key to Innovative Leadership?

Instead of hearing from me, I thought you all would like to hear about how truly innovative leaders apply associative thinking – the ability to connect previously unconnected dots.
After you’ve read it, I’d love to hear about your thoughts and experiences with associative thinking.

Today I was having a conversation with my younger daughter, Rachel, about her internship.  She had the opportunity this summer to work at The Garage Group, a Lean Innovation consultancy that helps Big Companies innovate faster and more effectively by applying startup-inspired approaches and lean thinking.  She learned a ton and had the opportunity to write and co-write several blogs.

Instead of hearing from me, I thought you all would like to hear from Rachel and The Garage Group on how truly innovative leaders apply associative thinking – the ability to connect previously unconnected dots.  I know I am “the Dad”, but I am truly impressed with Rachel and how The Garage Group thinks and helps their clients.  I hope you enjoy.

After you’ve read it, I’d love to hear about your thoughts and experiences with associative thinking.  Have you ever studied the topic?  Are you encouraging it within your team?  This is an interesting topic to me, and I’m looking forward to a fascinating discussion!

Until next month, enjoy the sunshine!

Keep having fun,
